1929-2017
Shirley J. Hoskins, 87, Savannah, Missouri passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 at Laverna Heights Nursing Home in Savannah, Missouri.
She was born July 16, 1929 to Harry and Frieda Wilson of Marshalltown, Iowa.
Shirley married Norris Hoskins December 10, 1951 in The Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. They became the parents of six daughters.
She owned and operated a beauty shop in the basement of her home in St. Joseph, Missouri before moving to Savannah in 1977 where she resided until her death.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Walter and Wayne Wilson.
Survivors include her husband of sixty five years, Norris; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Hyder, Sandy Blair (Jim Cobb), Gail Dunlap (Mike), Lori Lopez (Gelacio), Lisa Wise and Sharon Hoskins; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
