1940-2017

Dennis H. Caples, 77, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017.
He was born June 8, 1940 in Superior, NE, to Howard and Vivian (Thompson) Caples.
Dennis married Marilyn Wingfield April 9, 1961, she survives of the home.
He worked at Safeway grocery for 20 years as a store manager, and later as a district manager for Little Debbie, until retiring in 1985, after being diagnosed with MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Additional survivors include sons, Steve Caples (Shelly), Mark Caples (Stephanie); grandchildren, Zachary (Erica), Sawyer (Stephanie), Dalton, Boone, Parker, Harrison and Katie; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Codi Rae; sister, Margaret Kirkpatrick (Duane).
